Guy Retallack
DIRECTOR & DRAMATURG
Guy is a freelance theatre director and coach. He was Artistic Director and founder of the BridgeHouseTheatreSE20 from 2013-2021.
Guy trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in Stage Management.
Guy has directed at many top drama schools both in the Uk and the USA, including the Central School of Speech and Drama, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Royal Academy of Music, Drama Centre, Drama Studio, the Oxford School of Drama, the British American Drama Academy, and Mountview. In New York Guy directed at the NYCDA and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Guy trained under Max Stafford-Clark at Out of Joint, was Staff Director at the National Theatre, and assisted Howard Davies, Jeremy Sams and Stephen Daldry at the NT and in the West End.
His credits include: ‘Mariupol’ (Pleasance Theatre) by Katia Haddad, ‘John & Jen’ (54Below, New York, & Southwark Playhouse) by Andrew Lippa & Tom Greenwald, which was nominated for 6 OFFIE Awards, and won Best Lead Performance in a Musical in the Off West End Awards OFFIES 2022; the multi-award-winning ‘Thrill Me’ nominated for 7 OFFIE Awards, including Best Director. His own acclaimed adaptation and production of ‘A Christmas Carol’(BHTheatreSE20). A freelance live event, music and theatre technician, James has recently designed sound and light for theatre productions including at The Playground, Questors, The Stables, Theatro Technis and for Drama Studio London and Emul8. He is currently producing music recordings with 2 clients and enjoys engaging in all artistic and technical aspects of sound production including live music and independent film

Max Honsinger
SOUND MIXER AND ADDITIONAL MUSIC PRODUCTION
Having briefly graced the theatre stage with ‘world’s best looking man winner’ Robert Pattinson in a 2004 local theatre production of Good News, Max went a totally different direction and pursued a career behind the mic instead of in front of it.
As a music producer, Max has worked with Sony, Universal Music and BMG on artists such as The Beach along with hundreds of signed and unsigned acts. He has also undertaken live mixing projects for high profile bands such as The 1975, Bastille and Jake Bugg.
Alongside this, Max creates sonic branding soundtracks and sonic idents, with tracks featured by Mercedes, Ryanair, The Bill Gates Foundation and many hundreds of firms around the world.
More recently he has turned his head back towards theatre, helping to create the music for The Greatest Showman stage show Come Alive!. Working with creators Jim and Eric to help realise their vision for John Clare: The Madhouse Sessions has been highly rewarding.

Eric Angus
COMPOSER, ARRANGER AND MUSIC PRODUCTION
Eric has written for THE MERCURY WORKSHOP MUSICAL REVIEW (Jermyn Street Theatre, directed by Julia Mackenzie) I.D. - a one-woman show for actress Janie Dee, (Royal National Theatre Studio and regional theatres). He co-wrote the music (with Cathy Shostak) for THE DEMON HEADMASTER, (Royal National Theatre Studio, UK No. 1 Tour) and for A LITTLE PRINCESS for Stage By Stage Productions (Toronto). With Paul James he wrote POLICE STORY (Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts) and THE LATE SLEEPERS (Theatre Royal, Newcastle).
THE BOY WHO FELL INTO A BOOK, (co-composer with Cathy Shostak) based on the play by Alan Ayckbourn, premiered at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough in an acclaimed production directed by Alan Ayckbourn. Most recently he has contributed lyrics and music to Janie Dee’s BEAUTIFUL WORLD CABARET (Edinburgh and London Fringe venues) His song with Paul James, ‘Kaboom Kapow’ won the Stiles and Drewe Song Prize. He co-wrote, with June Hamilton, a commemorative piece, performed at Wembley Arena, to mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery in Great Britain and has also written music for radio and film.
His current projects are ROCKET WOMAN, as composer and co-lyricist with Katharine McMahon and GEORDIE AVENGERS versus THE LAMPTON WORM as composer with Paul James.
